    Catching My Eye | 11.13.20

We made it! The end of another week. How was your week? Mine felt like it flew by but also crawled by if that makes any sense. This weekend is looking like it will be a little slower, which is no problem for me. Life has been hectic, aside from last weekend, and I’m definitely looking forward to the slower days that winter is bringing our way. Sometimes, I think it’s really nice to slow down, take a look at everything around you, think about everything you’ve learned or have to learn, and just breathe it all in. The Love Affairs of Nathaniel P.: A Review

Title: The Love Affairs of Nathaniel P. Author: Adelle Waldman Genre: Fiction Quotation: “Dating is probably the most fraught human interaction there is.” Would recommend to: anyone dealing with a break-up looking for perspective. “I feel like you want to think what you’re feeling is really deep, like some seriously profound existential shit. Top 10 Tuesday: Debut Authors

Catherine Lacey Her debut novel “Nobody is Ever Missing” has been highly acclaimed by the Wall Street Journal and New Yorker. She seems like an up-and-coming author that no one should miss out…

    Top 5 Wednesday: Authors

This week is dedicated to those amazing author’s in your life that have changed your world. I’m supposed to stick to author’s I’ve discovered this year, but I’m going to branch out and include some other amazing writers, I hope you don’t mind. 1. George Orwell Have I talked about how I love “1984” yet? Yes? Oops. I read “1984” last Christmas (so almost this year), and as you all know, it’s one of my favorite books and I recently reviewed “Animal Farm” because I also loved that book. I think he’s an amazing writer that writes simply enough for everyone to enjoy it but profoundly enough to inspire his…
