An Update on Meal Kit Deliveries

If you know anything about me, you know I don’t cook. Well…that’s changed in the last three months! I bit the bullet and invested in Blue Apron, a meal kit delivery service, back in November, and it changed my life. (This is not sponsored. I wish it was. I really do. But I mean everything I am saying in this post.) I started off with Blue Apron because all my research showed it was more affordable and the meals were more diverse, but I always knew I was going to try both. I’m here to breakdown how I feel about them. Let’s get started! General Feelings on Meal Kits Clearly,…

July 2020 Goals (& An Update on June’s Goals)

Life is slowly, slowly starting to return back to normal. Not fully, but the pace is definitely picking up as more and more people are venturing out of their homes. I’m still mostly keeping to myself, but more calls are being scheduled for activities outside of work and more friends are wanting to socially-distance hang, so my calendar is quickly filling up again. I secretly love that life is getting back to “normal” because I love keeping busy and crossing things off my list. Easy Peasy Pasta Salad

Carbs are one of my favorite things to eat, and they are also one of the easiest things to prepare in my opinion. But sometimes it’s hard to take spaghetti and parmesan cheese on the go. For those occasions, I have settled for this fast, easy pasta salad recipe. This is one of my favorite recipes to make as meal prep for the week because it takes under 15 minutes on a Sunday afternoon, and it’s super easy to take to work with me and eat between meetings. Let’s get cooking! Prep Time: 15-20 minutes Cook Time: 0 minutes Servings: 6-8 Ingredients 1 box of farfalle pasta 1 carton of grape tomatoes…

    OnePan Ranch Pork Chops

I love to cook. Well, let me be clear. I love to eat, so therefore, I love to cook. But I don’t always love how long it takes to make a meal. That’s why I absolutely love 5-ingredient recipes, one pan wonders, and one pot and you’re done concoctions (crockpots are my godsend). When I found this One Pan Ranch Pork Chops recipe on Pinterest, I knew I had to try it out. My mom loved it, it fed us for more than one meal, and it only took about thirty minutes. What’s not to love? Prep Time: 15 Minutes Cook Time: 30 Minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients 4 Pork Chops (You can get…

    Treasure Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone! 1. I am STILL working my way through “Wicked.” Usually I read books much faster than this, but between moving, starting a new job, and having my boyfriend visit, I haven’t had as much reading time as usual. 2. Find out who you should date based on your favorite Harry Potter character with this article from Thought Catalog. 3.  4. This corgi doesn’t know how to ball in this adorable video. 5. While my boyfriend was here we made this Chicken Alfredo Pizza recipe from Cooking Classy. It was delicious! 6. I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day! How did you celebrate the big guy’s special…

If you want to know what recipes I’ve been trying, leave…
