    Top 10 Tuesday: OTPs

Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010. It combines what I love most in this world into one—lists, books, and blogging. It couldn’t be any better suited for me! This week, since Valentine’s Day is coming around the corner, I’m talking about my favorite OTPs! I’m going to break the rules a little bit this week and include some TV and movie OTPs as well as book OTPs. 1. Ron Weasley & Hermione Granger — Harry Potter I loved them from way back in the first book when he saved her from a troll, because what’s more romantic than that? First they develop as…

    Top 5 Wednesday: Fandoms

Happy new year! We are starting this year off right with a discussion about our favorite fandoms. I really don’t consider myself as a part of any fandom since I don’t actively participate in them, but I obviously do enjoy a lot of series books. Here are my favorite fandoms in no particular order. 1. Harry Potter I think I’ve talked about it enough that you all know I’m pretty into Harry Potter (I even went to The Wizarding World for my birthday!). I’ve read all the books at least 10 times. I’ve read them in ascending and descending order. I’ve read them on planes and in trains. I’ve owned…

Top 5 Wednesday: Hunger Games Moments

With the release of the final Hunger Games movie coming out on Friday, there isn’t a  more fitting topic than to talk about our favorite Hunger Games moments! As always, I’m going to be honest with you guys — I haven’t seen Mockingjay Part 1 yet, but I did read the book! Let’s get started! 1. “I volunteer as tribute.” Probably the most iconic moment in the whole series. Readers truly understand how much Prim means to Katniss in time between Prim’s name being called and Katniss volunteering to take her place. She knows she is walking to her death, but her sister is worth so much more than that.…

Top 10 Tuesday: If You Like…

Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010. It’s a fun way for bloggers all over the Internet to connect and post the things they love about books. This weeks challenge is to come up with a list of books based off of one book you may have liked. As you may know by now, I’m a pretty big fan of dystopias. So… If you like dystopian novels, you should read… 1. Anthem — Ayn Rand Read my review of “Anthem” and find out why I think it’s such an amazing book. 2. Divergent — Veronica Roth I’ve talked about “Divergent” plenty of times (and…

Top 10 Tuesday: Popular Authors on My Bookshelf

Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010. It’s a fun way for bloggers all over the Internet to connect and post the things they love about books. This week is highlighting the authors you’ve read the most books from. I’m not usually a repeat-author offender (I get bored because their plot lines are usually the same), but I’ve read a lot of series, and I’ve made a few exceptions… 1. Sarah Dessen I’ve read Dessen’s books since high school simply because they are easy beach reads that I really connected with, especially when I was younger. They follow my belief that author’s rarely deviate…
