Book Covers that Remind Me of Spring

We’ve had a few chilly days here in Nashville over the last few weeks, and it’s making me crave full-time spring. I thought it would be fun to share a wrap-up of the most spring-like book covers I’ve seen across the internet. Let’s get started! one | Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell It’s 1580s England, and a young Latin tutor falls in love with an eccentric woman, Agnes, who is known across the countryside for her unusual gifts as a healer. When the pair marry and settle into their home on Henley Street in Stratford-upon-Avon, she becomes a fiercely protective mother and a force of nature in her husband’s life. Agnes’s…

    Spring 2019 Playlist

I know Spring is technically almost over, but I still wanted to share the playlist I’ve curated over the last few months. You know the drill by now, but in case you don’t, I like to include new music for the season, music I’ve just discovered, and music I may have listened to during the last few months (musicals I’ve attended, concerts I went to, or particularly memorable music from a night out). 5 Books to Read this Spring

Spring has finally sprung! With spring officially having started on March 20, I’m still waiting for it to feel like spring in Nashville. With the promise of 65 degree weather for the coming weekend, my hopes are high. I can’t wait to pop open a new book on my deck and enjoy the breeze while flipping pages. I’ve compiled a list of books that came out in March or are going to be released in April that I think will make fantastic spring reads. Let’s get started! Top 10 Tuesday: Spring TBR

Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010. It combines what I love most in this world into one—lists, books, and blogging. It couldn’t be any better suited for me! This week I’m talking about the books on my To Be Read list for the spring. Most of these are required reading for my YA literature class, but that doesn’t mean I’m any less excited to read them. Let’s get started! 1. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell I’ve actually already started in on this one and it’s GREAT. 2. Midwinter Blood by Marcus Sedgewick 3. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz…

    Treasure Tuesday

    1. I’m so sorry I was MIA this past week — I was in the midst of sorority recruitment and had NO TIME to do anything but girl flirt. But it was so worth it because I met so many amazing women! 2. I am currently reading “Not That Kind of Girl” by Lena Dunham. 3. 4. “Grease Live” was on two nights ago! Unfortunately, I couldn’t watch it, but I heard it was amazing. What were your thoughts? 5. Here are the books that Buzzfeed readers think will change your life. I’ve read a lot of them, but I know I’ll be adding #7, #10, and #33 to my…
